Canadian Lighthouses of Lake Superior is expanding its efforts to other lighthouses in the area to continue to build the lighthouse trail. A lease to operate Trowbridge Island Lighthouse for this season has been announced by the Department of Fisheries and Oceans, Canada.  This does not include the main dwelling but the grounds and other buildings will be open in the summer to welcome visitors. The CLLS group will be working on assessing the site and develop a plan during the summer months to enhance the visitor experience.
