Join Canadian Lighthouses of Lake Superior
By becoming a member of CLLS, you actively contribute to the preservation of Canada’s lighthouse heritage. We are dedicated to making lighthouses more accessible to the public, and the financial support from memberships helps keep these unique visitor experiences possible.
As we expand our offerings and build the lighthouse trail eastward, every bit of support counts. CLLS is continuously growing and as of last year the lighthouse group now owns No. 10 Lighthouse on Shaganash Island!
We have three exciting membership tiers to offer:
Tier 1: Lighthouse Supporter $30
A great way to support the preservation of Lake Superior’s historic lighthouses, this $30 membership grants you:
- one free day entry pass to Porphyry Island or Trowbridge Island (value $15),
- recognition as a supporter and member,
- voting rights at our AGM, and
- a quarterly digital newsletter focusing on lighthouse updates and activities.
Tier 2: Lighthouse Guardian $75
For lighthouse enthusiasts who want a deeper connection to Lake Superior’s maritime heritage, this $75 membership grants you all the benefits from a Tier 1 membership plus:
- 10% off merchandise at the CLLS gift shop on Porphyry Island, and
- a beautiful note card produced by one of our artists in residence.
Tier 3: Beacon Society $175
For individuals who want to play a larger role in preserving the lighthouses of Lake Superior, this $175 Beacon Society membership grants you all the benefits from a Tier 2 membership plus:
- two additional day entry passes to Porphyry Island or Trowbridge Island
- 10% off special events (Lighthouse Carnival and Fundraising Dinner)
