Programs & Events
Our 2026 season begins with:
- The Spring Speaker Series at the Thunder Bay Museum (March 22 and April 12),
- Clean-up at Porphyry Island (June 7)
- Clean-up at Trowbridge Island (June 14).
- Annual General Meeting at the Prince Arthur Hotel, featuring a guest presentation about the Silver Islet Mine (June 18, 6 pm)
- Boathouse Folk School creative workshop #1: Glass Mosaic Art at Porphyry Island (July 4, 9:00 – 4:30 pm)
- Boathouse Folk School creative workshop #2: Carve a Wooden Spreading Knife at Porphyry Island (July 14, 9:00 – 4:30)
- Summer Lighthouse Celebration July 25 at Porphyry Island
- and of course, we have our Thursday and Sunday charters to Porphyry Island from Silver Islet with Archie’s Tours and Fishing Charters, as well as
- Zodiac lighthouse tours with Sail Superior from the Thunder Bay marina!
