Departing the city of Thunder Bay every other Saturday (June 21, July 5, July 19, August 2 August 16, August 30th), the Lighthouse Trail Discovery Tour takes you past many lighthouses (Welcome, Thunder Cape, Trowbridge, to arrive at Porphyry Island Lighthouse. Sail Superior operates the Superior Rocket that leaves in the morning from Prince Arthur’s Landing and delivers patrons to Porphyry to enjoy a tour. You can add on a lunch at the light keepers table or view a film screening of family life on the island in 1980.
